My neighbor bought a fancy car about 6-8 months ago. It's a big black BMW. I in general have no problem with people buying fancy cars and who does what, when and why, etc. But what I do have a problem with is that dude, the neighbor, refuses to park in front of his own house.
You see there's a tree in front of his house and I've now caught on that he doesn't want to park under the tree. His car is always in front of my house, even if there's a free spot or two or three in front of his house. We used to have a tree in front of our house until the wind pulled it down 2 years ago. Why the freak would you buy a car if you won't park it in front of your own house? I'm just saying... mofo neighbor.
The other day I had come home from riding my bike. I'd managed to squeeze my bike in the back of my husbands car, I have to take the front wheel off but it fits. Well mofo parks in front of my house thus making me park in front of his house. Well because he has the big ass tree in front of his house, he also has the big ass tree roots in front of his house. You should have seen me trying to manuever my bike out of my husbands tiny car and over all these stupid tree roots.
I'm sure he's a nice guy but for god's sake park in front of your own dang crib! bah man, bah!

I know what you mean - we had a neighbor that had the world's largest RV and he would park it in front of our house - blocking our view and taking up 3 car spaces - the guy was a jerk - we even asked him to move the RV to his side - but refused because of his tree...he went on a road trip and when he came back another neighbor parked their car right in the middle of the spot he used - boy was our neighbor mad - screaming and hollering - then the city changed the ordinances about parking RV - so they finally moved - now I have view and a couple of parking spaces....

Two houses ago we lived in a townhome. I am always coming home with all kinds of crap and a 4 year old to shlep into the house. My across the street neighbors would ALWAYS park in front of my house when there were ALWAYS spots in front of their house. Grrr...
We moved. It's all better now. ;)
Why not have some family and friends take turns leaving their cars parked in front of your house for several days/weeks. Never leave a space large enough for the neighbor to park his car, maybe he'll get the message after a while, maybe.
People like that remind me of how blessed I am to live in the country without close neighbors..I simply do not have the patience for them!
Would you like me to let you know how you can fix this problem? All you need is some glue and 4 BB's...
My mom taught me this...it is pure evil...and unless someone catches on it gives you pleasure day in and day out...::giggles::
This would infuriate me to no end. Every now and again is one thing, but all the time???? How rude.
I guess some has to be told right to the face. Who knows he may say " so sorry, why did'nt you tell me earlier" .... Some doesn't have enough of considerate feeling... ~bangchik
I guess the logical thing to do, would be to immediately move your car in front of your own house the second he pulls away, but it would a lot more fun to have the kids take up some messy activity in the front yard. I'd LOVE to hear Tony's glue/BB plan...
I'll post it if B says I can...
of course Dude, Share!!! hahaha
Totally know what you mean. I mean, I know it's a public street and all, but cripes, I pay the mortgage here, I'd like to park here!
Luckily we live on a corner lot and there is a parking area on the side. We NEVER have room to park in front of our house because our neighbor's car, and her daughter's car and her daughter's baby daddy's car and the wrecked car that doesn't actually run..... you get the picture.
At least you get a fancy BMW. My view is of a rusted pick up with the grill dented in and the front bumper held on with bungee cords. Nice, eh?
