Yeah I've been MIA for a few days cause well I got sucked into the Twilight series...damnit! Right now I'm motoring through the books at lightening speed so I can just get some resolution and be done with it! Of course as soon as I got done with the first book, Twilight, I had to send the Huz to a Redbox kiosk to grab me the movie. I watched it twice and now I'm thinking I need to go spend another $1 and see it again cause well I need to...not sure entirely why, "I'm sucked in for god's sake!! There's no rhyme to my reason!" Damn teen romances!
I'm almost done. I'll see you soon. Meh.

I'm curious too... I've heard they're good. I just spent the last 3 days inhaling the last Harry Potter book, though, and you can tell by looking at my laundry pile that that's all I've done... Maybe I should wait a while till I start a new book. :)

Try the Wicked series (the REAL Oz)...MUCH better read...also The Looking Glass Wars (the darker seedy side of Alice in Wonderland)...

(Isn't it crazy how GOOD they are?! I was a total cynic until I turned the first page of the first book. 3 days later, I finished the last page of the last book. I was pregnant at the time, so I had lots of FREE time.)

Tony I'll check those out. But dude Edward's passion for Bella and her passion for Edward just reigned me in. I guess they're actually geared toward us females..which would explain why you didn't like them as much...:)
Ya know, I totally dig the whole vampire scene. I loved Buffy and Angel. I think I have to check out Twilight. I'm certain I'll get sucked in, too.
I'm right there with you! Twilight rocks!!! I have 200 pages left to read on book 4! I NEVER thought I would be 30 something and reading a teen romance book! LOL!
Love love LOVE them! You're right -- they're totally for girls. My husband and my friend's husband were both, like, "but what about the killer vampire? Isn't that the main story???"

But the book was much better...none the less I totally can't wait for New Moon. Something new. haha
