I'm meeting my advanced level goal of hanging the majority of my clothes outside to dry. I've managed to hang all 14 or so loads I've done except 2. So far so good.
I must admit, it's not as fun as when I first started a few weeks ago. But I do really like that I can hang 3 to 4 loads outside and retrieve them really whenever I want, nice. Of course I left them out there a really long time, 2 days, and some of them got bird poo on them.

Good for you! I do a lot to help the environment, I'm just not at the hang the laundry out stage...yet. You never know what will happen down the road.
My problem is paying attention to this challenge too much some days. We've had a LOT of rainy days and I have skipped out on wash waiting for the sun. I'm so behind. I need a good sunny week. At least I got two loads done today and hung. But I'm not hitting my 90% yet.
There's just nothing like crinkely clothes! :)
Just kidding - keep up the good work!
i hang up as much of my stuff as i can too. luff it. what do you do with like socks and underwear and other tiny things? i usually throw that stuff in the dryer into one big load, like the remnants of the other loads if that makes sense
jenny, I will either hang each individual little piece at the end or it I don't feel like it cause yeah it's tedious, I'll just lay them flat on something outside.
A collapsable drying rack is great for the little things. In the winter, I set them over the vents at night or in front of the fire. During the summer, I set them out in the sunshine to whiten the whites. I also use these crazy little hanging racks that have clips attached them to hang up socks and undies.
Blech. Bird poop. Then you have to start all over :(
I tagged you for a meme, if your up to it.
